Isabelle first joined Kung Fu in 2016 to learn self-defense. Since then, she has fallen in love with the strength and history that Northern Shaolin offers and joined the lion dance team to further connect with her culture. After years of training, she challenged herself through international martial arts competitions, becoming a multi-time gold medalist and earning the title of Grand Champion.
With hours of volunteer experience in children’s mentorship programs, she is delighted to have the opportunity to pass on the knowledge she has acquired. Above speed and power, Isabelle prioritizes teaching the purpose behind each movement in the Shaolin forms. She strives to foster an encouraging environment where students have fun learning and growing from their mistakes.
Outside of martial arts, Isabelle enjoys exploring rocky beaches, spending time with cats, and indulging in desserts.
